There is always plenty to see and do close to Tom Sawyers, please find below just some of the many local attractions to Looe that we think you will enjoy visiting.
The Monkey Sanctuary is situated in beautiful woodlands overlooking Looe Bay in south east Cornwall. For many years the Sanctuary was dedicated to one species, the Amazonian woolly monkey, and was the first place in the world where these monkeys bred successfully outside of their native habitat.
Hannahfore Beach stretches from Hannafore Point along Marine Drive.  It is predominantly a rocky beach with shingle and some patches of course sand at low tide. Above the beach there are grassy banks and benches along Marine Drive. The beach is probably best known and best enjoyed for its fantastic rockpools that are uncovered twice daily as the tide retreats and for its view across to St George’s Island, now more commonly known as Looe Island.
The main East Looe Beach is a large sandy beach with man made seating areas and rocks to one side and Banjo Pier to the other. At low tide, it is a vast expanse of flat sand and even at high tide, a very large area of beach remains.
Boat Trips & Fishing -Take a power boat trip out in the bay or see the seabed in a Glass Bottom Boat, trips around Looe Island and the bay book from East Looe quay.
The Looe Boats for hire, boat trips, fising trips, Shark Fishing, Mackerel fishing, evening conger fishing in Looe Cornwall.
